Rachael Ray's Rebuild

Rachael helps a family rebuild after they barely survive a tornado, which destroyed their entire house. Ashley and Troy Thomas loved their two-story home and spent most of their time upstairs or entertaining outside. Their basement was rarely used until a tornado warning sent them running frantically into it. When the F3 tornado leveled their entire house, the basement saved their lives. Rachael needs to help them rebuild a brand-new ranch-style house, and the only requirement is…a basement.

Rachael knows the emotional pain that comes in the aftermath of a fire, and she’s using that experience to help guide Simone and her family through the rebuilding process. A forgotten burning candle became a raging fire that completely destroyed the family’s second floor. The worst part of the damage is Simone’s guilt as Rachael and the team work to rebuild the home exactly as it was before the fire. But whether or not they can restore Simone’s confidence in herself still remains to be seen.

Rachael and the team are digging deep to find pockets of mold in the Murphy family home which was ravaged by flood waters. Flood damage goes beyond what the eye can see and real problems can start when the water recedes. But new problems seem to be growing faster than the mold as they try to get this family back in their home.

When a drunk driver in a pick-up truck burst through the front wall of Carrie Donald’s home and into her dining room, she was terrified but never dreamed it would happen again until it did. Less than twenty-four hours later another vehicle plowed into her living room. Now Rachael needs to restore Carrie’s sense of security in the home while also trying to figure out how to repair all the damage.
